Corrections

When this site is wrong, it says so.

A site publishing health content will get things wrong. What separates a trustworthy one is whether that is visible afterwards. Substantive factual errors here are corrected and recorded in public rather than quietly edited away.

Report one to hello@reptrackpro.org.

The process

What happens after you send it

  1. 1You report itEmail the page URL, the passage you think is wrong, and why. A source contradicting it is the most useful thing you can include, but it is not required to be worth sending.
  2. 2We acknowledge itYou get a reply confirming the report has been read. One person handles these, so an acknowledgement is not the same as a decision.
  3. 3We check it against the sourcesThe claim goes back to the literature it was drawn from. If the source does not support it, or the source itself has been superseded, the claim is wrong regardless of how long it has been published.
  4. 4We fix or explainConfirmed errors are corrected and the page's modified date is updated. If we decide the page is right as written, you get the reasoning and the sources rather than silence.
  5. 5Substantive fixes are logged hereAnything that changed the meaning of a health, nutrition or training claim gets an entry in the log below, saying what was wrong and what it now says. Typos, broken links and rewording are fixed without a log entry.

Worth reporting

What counts as an error

A number that contradicts its own cited source. A source that has been retracted, withdrawn or superseded by newer guidance. A claim about what the app does that does not match the shipping build. Anything that reads as medical advice, a dosage, or a protocol rather than as education. A page missing a source for a figure it states. A statement about the author's credentials beyond what the editorial policy sets out.

Disagreement about interpretation is welcome too, and it is treated differently: where the evidence genuinely supports more than one reading, the fix is usually to say so on the page rather than to pick a side.

The log

Corrections issued so far

No substantive corrections have been issued yet. This log starts empty and stays empty until one is. It is not a claim that nothing is wrong, only that nothing has been reported and confirmed since the process was published.

The nearest thing to a precedent predates this page: the app's cycle-phase calorie and training-intensity modulation was removed after the figures behind it failed a check against the literature. That is written up on the Science & Evidence page, including the numbers that were dropped.

Not a correction

Support, privacy and medical questions

Bugs and account or billing questions are support, not corrections, and go through contact. Data and deletion requests are covered by the privacy policy.

Questions about your own health cannot be answered here at all. Please take those to a qualified clinician.
